Spanish Red Old Vines

Bring home some Spanish wines for the holidays!

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and continue to enjoy this wonderful time of year. This holiday season we've been on a huge Spanish wine kick. Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas...each introduced us to a new Spanish red wine, particularly from the Old Vines region. It can be easy to get overwhelmed with all the different varietals that Spain has to offer. If you're new to the country's wines or haven't given them a good try yet, we definitely advise that you start off with one of their most popular, the Garnacha. Below, we've highlighted 4 of our most recent discoveries this holiday season. We highly recommend you give them a try. Any one of them would make a nice, inexpensive, but quality addition to your holiday meal. Serve it this New Year's dinner or just enjoy it alone at home, curled up on the couch, on a chilly Winter night.
